Dunderdon ampersandgallery:

A quick thanks to The Sartorialist for posting about the vintage photographs we have available at Dunderdon in NYC. I particularly love the photo that is featured in the post. Shot by Allan de Lay back in the 1950s (this is an original vintage print), the image illustrates well de Lay’s sharp eye for the whimsey of everyday life. The man pictured has obviously been caught while talking, yet the implied relationship between his puckered lips & wide eyes next to her ample cleavage is unmistakable. Great shot, Allan!
If you have a chance, be sure to stop in at Dunderdon at 25 Howard Street & take a look at all the other snapshots & random vintage ephemeral material we are selling there.
New Yorkers … if you make it to Portland, be sure to stop in at our gallery space on NE Alberta Street. & don’t forget that Dunderdon has a Portland-based store, too.
